Personally I like the ones offered by LG and Samsung but we just bought one yesterday at Walmart to replace an aged CRT that made a sound like a cap gun being fired and then went black. When I say aged I mean so old that it’s maximum listed resolution was 800 X 600. We had been running it at 1024 X 768 for about 6 months after it having not been used at all for at least 5 years. The one we bought is an AOC and they have a favorable reputation for good products at reasonable prices. It’s an 18.5" wide screen LCD with 1366 X 768 resolution and is connected to the Emachines desktop that has Nvidia GeForce 7050 integrated graphics. So far it looks very nice. It cost $99.
