Buying New Computer-Need to move Registered Avast

I have purchased a new computer. I wish to download my Avast account onto the new machine. Will I have any problems doing this? Should I download it first on the new machine, then delete it on the old one?

Please (re)search before posting/asking.
This has been explained many times already.

  • remove avast from te old system
  • install avast on the new one
  • use your license file to register the new installation

Eddy’s post would be helpful if I had the install file. Additionally I have Avast Passwords installed on Chrome on the old machine. Not worried about the add-in, I am wondering how I get my passwords over to the new computer.

You could also copy it to CD or USB drive.
