bv:autorun-g shows up on my pc everytime a memory stick is plugged into the usb port. avast keeps popping up a warning and no matter what option i take the warning keeps appearing, same thing doesn,t happen when i put the stick into my second pc which is also protected with avast but when i run a scan on the rogue pc the scan shows as clean, the directory filename that appears with the warning is f:\autorun.inf. anyone any idea at all how i can remove this from my pc, doesn,t just happen with the same meory stick, have tried several and the same thing happens everytime
Your USB is infected and the autorun.inf is trying to run, inside that file will be a number of commands, typically to run files, Post the contents of the autorun.inf file, open using notepad.
