BV:Autorun-R Worm

Avast is finding this worm, avast has detected that autorun.inf is infected with the Autorun-r worm. Now I have scanned my computer many times. I have no problems with my PC. I have checked and rechecked. There is no autorun.inf file in my root directory, task manager opens and everything works. But as soon as i insert my pen drive this virus pops up. I have formatted my USB drive many times but still it keeps comming back.

I also have a 320 gb portable h.drive and I am not having any problems with this…its only the pen drives. I have also checked the pc using Malwarebytes

I also have used flash disinfector but still the same problem persists.

Let your USB drive plugged and run Autorun Eater or Flash Disinfector, allowing them to clean up all drives. They would create hidden folders named autorun.inf in each partition and every USB drive plugged in when you ran it. These folders protect your drives from future infection. After that, reboot your computer.
