At Avasts bypass Scan (the scan before windows fully boots) The keyboard doesn’t work and the scan gets stuck when avast asks what to do with the virus. ???

There have been issues in XP when using a USB keyboard, the keyboard may not be recognised before windows starts.

Yeah i have xp and a USB Keyboard. But i solve the problem, i changed the boot scan settings.
Changed this option:
“When a threat is found, apply the following action:
Delete”
"When a threat is found, apply the following action: Delete"what if the detection is a false positive ?
Just did the scan and the malware\malicious Software got deleted.
yes… but are you sure it was not a false positive ?
Clean, Quarantine, or Delete?

Deletion isn’t really a good first option (you have none left), ‘first do no harm’ don’t delete, send virus to the chest (a protected area) and investigate.
