c8l5f68z6.exe and sUddxsate.exe

i keep getting a virus warning from avast, the virus keeps creating c8l5f68z6.exe and sUddxsate.exe regularly. why cat avast just delete once and for all? i already tried boot time scan

What is the malware name given and what is the location the files are placed ?

If it keeps coming back, there is likely to be an undetected or hidden element to the infection that restores or downloads the file again. What is your firewall ?

If you haven’t already got this software (freeware), download, install, update and run it and report the findings (it should product a log file).

Don’t worry about reported tracking cookies they are a minor issue and not one of security, allow SAS to deal with them though. - See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie.

Hi ocmwila,

Consider the solution presented here at the end of the tread:
http://forums.cnet.com/5208-6132_102-0.html?threadID=359643
But before deleting upload the file to virustotal.com to check what it actually is,

polonus

its creating them in C:\Documents and Settings\user, and the name is Win32:Malware-gen
