call of duty 4 punk buster a threat?

I did a virus scan which i every so often to stay safe. This time however its picked up something that im not sure is a real threat or not. In my call of duty 4 modern warfare folder its decided that two files in its punk buster folder are a root kit. Now i do know that call of duty 4 uses some form of drm that is abit dodgy. But if i delete or remove them to virus chest isn’t that gonna break the game?

Ok new problem. When i select them to upload them to that site i get a message informing me i cant due to the fact they contain a virus lol.

Generic detection + only Avast! and Gdata (which uses Avast! engine) detecting means it is probably a false positive.
