I have a client who is running Calyx Point. When Avast updated from version 7 to version 8, Calyx ceased working. The program will not launch. I added it as an exception in Avast but still had an issue. Spoke to Calyx support who stated it’s an issue with Avast 8 and I needed to uninstall Avast & reinstall Calyx for it to work as the Calyx install was corrupt.
— Has anyone had this issue before/been successful in using Calyx with Avast 8?
— Is there any way to reinstall Avast 7? When I tried to install Avast 7 from an old install file, it immediately wanted to update to 8.
