can a virus install programs on my computer?

i have found programs running on my computer and do not know what they are or how they got there… can anyone help me to identify them? they are ::: ashwebsv…pct voice…wzqkpick…pv92tray… if i dont need them how do i remove them? thx for all/any help with this
