6 year license
Rogue seller who should be reported to ebay, max legit license is 3 years so this is a hacked license on the old product, not quite so easy on the new 5.0 version.
I know. I usually report these sellers to eBay but they have made it so difficult to do it that I have given up.
I pester the sellers with inquiries but that doesn’t seem to bother them at all.

Have you tried the Safe Harbor with e_Bay? Do you have any contact info. from the seller? If you paid by Postal Money Order, I believe it is a federal crime. You can go to the PO to verify as long as you have your receipt.
Nothing like that. I simply keep an eye on people selling bogus copies of avast!
I’ve been doing it for years. Problem is, as far as I can tell, eBay doesn’t have a process for turning these people in. Take a look around and see if you can find a way. I usually come up with a plan and eBay takes the listing away but some other seller pops up to take it’s place.

I only had a problem once with e_Bay and I had to involve Safe Harbor for resolution, but for that you actually needed a transaction (both parties have privy to personal shipping/billing address), so this would not apply in your situation.
Doesn’t e_Bay have a forum for these type of people? It’s been a while since I’ve been on their site, but I think you can warn others. But how many people look at it? And this user will just get a different screen name and do it again.
On the other hand, all you need to do is post the seller’s name here and the criminal act they are committing, edit the title of your post to be more descriptive, and perhaps do a screen shot and it will be on google for everyone to see. ;D ;D ;D
There is a link on every page to report item, that is normally what I use, it isn’t too difficult, but I don’t know just hoe effective it is.
Yes, but none of the links refer to pirated software so I have to make up a reason.
Those reasons are just the preamble (just choose something close) to allowing you to input the text reason, e.g. ‘Avast Software don’t sell a 6yr license, max is 3yrs so this is hacked’
