Hello forum… im writing this to ask everyone for some ideas about a very strange issue
I have a toshiba laptop and it comes with very nice speakers but the size is not too big so usually i play music with volume level in 100%
a few days ago i found that winamp was decreasing my volume on every “peak” of the songs… its not really notorious but i also found that when i play sounds in 100% of volume now its like 50% of the power that it used to have
I know a lot about sound and soundcards and speakers or maybe i know enough to know that this is not a regular issue… no drivers problems… no hardware problems… no software problems (winamp… media player sound forge etc etc)
basically the sound goes up and down alone and the volume controls (windows winamp etc.) doesnt move at all
lets put a basic example so everyone understands…
i play “stiff upper lip - acdc” and all the begining sounds “almost regular” and when the band starts playing the volume goes down… not really down but down enough to keep it the same way as it was in the begining… and of course i cant reach more that 50% of the real volume i used to have
Why do i put this in this forum?
heres the reason…
i started investigating in internet about this and i found many people from around the world with the same strange problem.
Thats not all… they all seem to be having this issue starting a few weeks ago… you can check that
on every forum i find random people asking this and people trying to give the usual support like check connections drivers etc.
I started asking my friends and i found the same!!!
some weeks ago with this “strange” “problem”
i made full scans of my computer and nothing
How can i send avast information about my computer processes and files to make someone investigate if this is maybe a new virus fooling around and not discovered yet
I know that the chances that this is a virus are too small and i am one of those who never opens an email sayin “try this” even if its from a friend but i am really curious about this
