I know its not normal asking fo virus on an antivirus forum.
But i have to clarify that I am using them for a video review on different antivirus.
I already have tried malware domain list and most seemed to b dead at the moment with others being completely blocked off by ie8.
Is it really so hard to get infected?
If you have gotten infected before, please tell me the url ( desperate here ).

The short answer is NO, this is an official avast! support forum and not a quasi malware distribution site.
Anyone posting a live link to malware or a file share, would be asked to remove it and then reported if it wasn’t removed as there is no control over who can download it or how they will use it.
These forums are publicly available without restriction, so we have a responsibility to protect them from malware. Not to mention, posting such links could also have the Network Shield alerting in our own forums.
There are sites for getting samples and test your antivirus.
