Hi the biggest problem with the annoying >:( thieves is that they have some brains and they will root your mobile phone ones they get their hands on it removing every app it has installed also the avast one can rooting be some how prevented or may be a backup copy of avast should run in some corner so that even though the phone is rooted avast can still work.
Please let me know what are your ideas on it my colleague in the office just had his phone stolen by bikers 10 mins ago.

if Anti-Theft is installed rooted, and usb-debugging is locked when marked as lost, you only can lock the phone to prevent uninstallation. all they could do is flash a whole new rom to get access to the phone.
In most of the cases, the good thing with thieves is, that they are in fact not that intelligent. From my experience many thieves just use the phone - and don’t even wipe it.
That’s why it’s a tough decision wether to lock the phone or not. If you lock it, your private data is secure. If you don’t you have better chances to get the phone back.
of course not all possibilities can be covered.
