Hello and good day. :slight_smile: I’m using avast! Free Antivirus 2015 on Windows 7. I have the option enabled to warn me when downloading a file with a poor reputation. However, I would like to know: is there a way to scan a download with avast! either before or during the actual download, so that I can stop the download if malware is detected?

Usually, Avast will block the download of infected files automatically

From my little knowledge, bad reputation file not exactly means always a infected file

Infected file will be usually automatically deleted
