Can AVAST Home Automatically Delete Infected Emails?

When Outlook downloads my mail, I get a bunch of “A Virus Was Found!” messages, and I have to keep clicking ‘Delete…’ Can’t Avast do this without my intervention?

Welcome to the forum CircuitMan,

For Outlook (not Outlook Express) right click the a-icon and open On Access Protection Control. Highlight the Outlook/Exchange provider, click Customize, then click the In Bound mail tab. Click in the Discard it Unconditionally radio button.

On Professional version you can configure whatever action you want (delete, send to Chest, etc.).
