automatically scan downloads as they are downloading? So if i go to a site and download something, i want avast to automatically check for viruses

Right click the “a” ball in the system tray and choose on-access protection control. Click details and then click web shield in the left pane. There you can see the last website scanned and the number (if any) infections found
