If avast find the virus, can it send me email? I cannot find this function anywhere… (there is not a form with “receiver’s address”. How can I do it?

The avast help file, Settings, Alerts page, is surprisingly helpful.
Start by, right clicking the avast ‘a’ icon, select Program Settings, Alerts page. You will also need to ensure the SMTP section is also set-up.
