I have purchased avast internet security which worked perfectly before i update the program to the latest one. Now it freezes in the system tray and doesn’t open or scan for viruses which leaves me unprotected. I read somewhere that I should uninstall it and re-install it but before i do that i need to get my license file and I don’t know which Email address i used when i purchased it.

tried avast repair and reboot?
controlpanel > ad/remove programs > avast > uninstall/change > repair option …wait aminute and reboot
if you saved the mail you got from avast …you find the licens there 
if not get avast to resend it…

I forgot which email my Avast IS is registered to so I can’t do the uninstall because i will lose my internet security and will have to use the free one

if you dont remember what mail…try them all.
If i do the repair will I still need the license or will it still be activated?
