HI avast how is it going this evening for you. My desktop computer has been acting funny today for some reason. Last night I was trying to go to the malwarebytes.org website and instead I typed malewarebytes.org into the Url bar and pushed enter little did I now that their was actually a website with that url and my google browser went to that website and something downloaded malwarebytes to my desktop. So I then deleted the download from my computer and I thought things were fine but tonight when I was surfing the internet my google browser keeps directing me to another website and not the website I want to go to. Example is I typed in otl to go to bleeping computer and when I pushed enter after typing in otl in the url google did not go to the search results where bleeping computer was but instead google chrome went to yahoo web search. after this happened a couple of times I used internet Explorer on my desktop computer and did mange to download and run otl.
Malwarebytes free after it was updated did not find anything either and avast free did not find any thing either but I did scan with hitman pro and it did find conduit on my Windows Vista Desktop computer.
Adwcleaner did not find anything either.
here are the logs for otl and aswMBR below:
HI Just thought I better throw this topic up to the top so it get noticed. I hope Essexboy gets some time look at the logs for this computer and comes up with a solution if possible. I will wait for your thoughts Essexboy.
Thanks very much

OK, I just told you NOT to post OTL! How many systems is OTL installed on?
Also, please answer this question. What is YOUR name.

Are you going to listen or should I just abandon you and your other thread? Fix one issue, then the next, don’t post 2 threads at once. It confuses us, and you.
HI Pondus I did not now Essexboy was on Vacation sorry about not paying atttention. Micheal why do you wnat my name sorry for posting two threads I apoligize for doing this. The reason I used otl was because Essexboy has had me use it before. My question is Micheal what am I supose to use to scan for viruses and to post the logs for some one to check them for malware or viruses Micheal.
Thanks.
HI Micheal please I will not use otl any more tell me then what I am supose to use to scan for viruses and malware instead of using otl I did not realize that avast had quit using otl because it was outdated Micheal I am very sorry Micheal. If you do not want to help me Micheal you can always leave Micheal Sorry for bothering you Micheal.
One thing that annoys me is Micheal. It’s Michael, note the A is before the E.
I will tell you this Diddy, your adware case, was straight forward. MBAM, adwcleaner and FRST to confirm. All non-invasive fixes. I am not comfortable with removing ADS stuff, because I don’t know which are legit and not. Other then the TEMP one, they are all bad, I know that.
Unless Essexboy comes online and says to me my fixes are correct. I WILL NOT help you any further. I ONLY have experience in ADWARE cases.
That will be all. if you STILL want help for your toolbar. Follow what I posted.
Don’t expect anything past that. I will most likely ask Valinorum, argus magna etc to confirm you are clean for that thread.
Thanks Micheal
You did it again … Did you read this ;D
One thing that annoys me is Micheal. It's Michael, note the A is before the E.
Sorry Michael for misspelling your name.
Diddy,
it is nice of you trying to help others.
But in order to be able to help others you must know what you are doing, have the knowledge/skills for it.
What you are doing is saying to people:
“Give me your pc and I will check if there is malware on it and if so I will remove it”
But the fact is that you don’t.
You want us to do your “homework” and that is something we don’t like at all.
I suggest you go do something else.
Something that is within your knowledge/skill range.
HI Eddy I am sorry if I not perfect and I make mistakes. I am sorry I ask you guys to help me for help when I have to have my computer/computers checked for viruses or malware if I could I would do it myself but I am no malware expert Eddy.
Thanks Eddy
HI Eddy are you suggesting I quit avast and uninstall it and move to a different antivirus company Eddy.
when and how did he imply that you should switch??
I see nothing there that could even be remotely seen as, go somewhere else with a new AV.
We are saying, from the looks of it, you don’t follow everything we ask. A good example is my name. You read the that I am willing to help you, but proceeded to misspell my name again. It makes it look like you only read the part you want to read.
We are also saying, if you read everything we say, 99% of your cases would be non-existent, Unchecky, prevents adware from installing, just like common sense when it fails or slips your mind. It’s saved me before, and will help you. Granted, yes. I’ve needed help, but for 2 years, I have willingly helped this forum and started taking steps to learn it myself. Yes, I didn’t complete it, but there were about 100 reasons why that fell through… (Which is only why I help with Adware stuff, not trojans, vbs infections)
Hi Diddy.
The only people who I would keep happy are the TRUE malware removal specialists listed here. They are the persons who actually know what they are doing and will ultimately decide whether or not they will help you.

One more thing, Diddy. You seem to have an interest in malware removal and if you are interested in learning how to become an expert in removing malware, please check some of these training courses.
CharyB. I wouldn’t trust google.

This is where Essex (Martin) teaches and where Valinorum, Naathim and a few other trained.
