I kinda have problem. Here at work we have slow antivirus system, and i would like to install to my office PC avast free, but Im not sure it’s legal. Free is home only? Or can I install it at work also?
The answer is a big !! NO !!

If you are working in your office without salary then certainly ! But if not then you can use avast at your home for free.
Sure i understand, that they have to eat. But I don’t really understand, how they, or me, know what is commercial use?
Sigh… I am pretty sure you understand very well what has been said. In terms of common sense, provided you have paid for appropriate number of licenses for Pro/AIS, feel free to downgrade to Free at will.
And since its your office computer then I think you will certainly like to give extra level of protection??
Right ??? Then go for avast Pro(with safe zone and sandbox) or Internet security (with anti spam and firewall)
