Can no longer use Eudora for POP3 mail

I recently (yesterday) installed AVAST Home Edition… Since then I cannot use my Eudora email progam but I can use the web mail version from my ISP. Obviously there is a parameter within AVAST that has locked out my receive/send of Eudora emails… Cannot figure out what that is… HELP!! :frowning:

Why can’t you use Eudora, what errors or messages are displayed ?

It is more likely to be your firewall that is blocking ashMaiSv.exe.
What is your firewall ? Does it allow ashMaiSv.exe internet access ?

  • If it does delete the entry for it and try to check your email, this will force the firewall to ask permission again.

Does your email require a secure connection (SSL) or different ports than the default ones?
