Can not update Avast

My Avast stops updating the definitions after it shows the file “prod.ais-vpx” about 5 sec. in. Need help on this matter.

Repair avast!:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → avast!
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.
