I’m having problems sending email with WIN 7 LIVE MAIL. When I installed AVAST I chose to customize and not scan email.My email now works fine, but I’m concerned about not having AVAST scan my incoming mail. Can I further customize Avast jout for outgoing. Thx Ron
You should be able to from Avast’s main interface. Real-Time Shields>Mail Shield. The are two check boxes. Hope that helps.
What would have been helpful is to give details of the problem, with any error messages displayed, etc. ?
What would also help is the type of email connection required for the email server (and ISP if that is who the email server is for), e.g. SSL (secure) email connection and if it is something like a Hotmail/MSN webmail account that is imported using Live Mail.
