can sum1 help verify this site...

was just surfing and when i went to enter this site it gave me a security warning ive never seen saying the security certificate is from a trusted certifier and its valid but the name is invalid or doesnt match the site… here’s the addy (with spaces of course) https:// www3.cai. com/securityadvisor/pest/ pest.aspx?id=453075065
I was searching for info on this thing called installer5.exe sitting in my bro’s C:/ folder. Ive never seen this warning before, can anyone help? let me know if its OK somehow?

Well DrWeb doesn’t detect anything, however there are no fewer than 7 javascript files on that page.
Firefox also flags the site security certificate warning, see image. Looks like CA Spyware Information Center, why they chose to use a different domain name to show spyware info and use the ca.com security certificate is beyond me.

I can get through to that page (looks like CA Spyware Information Center) using firefox, with NoScript extension that would stop the javascript code working without any avast alert.

SiteAdvisor doesn’t flag anything untoward, so it looks like a bit of stupidity on the part of CA using their site security certificate for another domain, see http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/cai.com.

Meh! Warnings scare me! I dont think it really holds any useful info, so should probably do without the visit, just in case…
