Is the first time i use the avast anti-virus and i’ve already received my registration key, but the “.exe” file does
seems to exist.
It’s the second time i’ ve downloaded the setup of the free Home Avast 4 and still appears a shortcut in my desktop that does not work… and also because that “ashAvast.exe” file does not exists in my Programs + Avast file.
I thought it was from an error, but twice in different setup languages???
Have (or did) you another AV installed in this system, if so what was it and how did you get rid of it ?
Were you experiencing any problems before you installed avast ?
You may have had an infection before installation that is killing ashavast.exe.
