I will have to read through the web to see what exactly are they doing 
But I think you can after a brief look. And no, we don’t have CarrierIQ detection as far as I know. Some other companies developed a separate app to detect that when it was hot. I actually think that carriers started to push updates disabling CarrierIQ after it became known.
