Can you see Avast folder?

hi, this is my “story”:
Today I turned on my pc (windows 8 ), I wait and I noticed that Avast didn’t start. So I looked for Avast folder or file in my pc, but Windows wasn’t able to find anything (I can only see the set-up file)! I checked with ccleaner and management programs (in windows control pannel) and they said Avast was installed. So, I restarted my pc. In this start, Avast started normally with all its functions, but I can’t find its folder yet.
What do you think? Why I can’t see Avast folder?

PS I checked windows folder setting and i can see hidden folders.

Which version of Windows are you using and which version of Avast ???
When you installed Avast, did you use the default folder ???

( C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast )
( C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software )
( C:\Users\Norbert\AppData\Roaming\AVAST Software )

I use windows 8, and Avast 10.4.2233. But now I can see the AVAST folder ( C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast ). Maybe the problem is about windows. I can see avast folder in C, but the research don’t find them.
I’m sorry if i run here to solve a problem that is not really about avast, but I was worried that I have a virus that can unistall antivirus and create fake icon.
