I’ve purchased a 3 PC version of Avast as I’ve just bought a new PC and Lappy. How do I cancel the automatic renewal (at cost) for my old version of Avast that I have just had a reminder for?

You should have received an email when you purchased Avast.
In that email, near the bottom I believe, you should see a link/info on cancelling Auto-Renewal
What if you no longer have the e-mail that came when you purchased the license? How would you cancel the automatic renewal then? I want to know because just like penny-lyons I also bought a three PC license. I wasn’t aware their was a way to turn off automatic renewal. I bought the license in August (I think) because I had heard good things about Avast and wanted to try it out for a year. I’ll most likely renew Avast once my 1 year license is almost expired but I would like the chance to renew it manually if possible.
I personally don’t have the answer to that question.
I am just a user like yourself although others may have further advice.
I would make sure I have gone through ‘support ticket’ process and keep reference, explaining your situation. I would also address it from the credit card/paypal whatever side of the transaction.
Stay tuned someone else may have other ideas.
Find your order online and disable the auto-renewal.
