It’s inconvenient that there are three 3rd party companies who are responsible for Avast billing = Nexway, Digital River, & Clever Bridge. It would be much more user friendly for me to be able to contact avast directly or deal with my online account directly myself instead of having to contact different companies. I always renew my subscription manually when im near my expiration date and avast pops up to offer me a discount for renewing closer to the exp date. It makes no sense why this year billing is handled through Clever bridge and not Digital River like last time. According to the FAQ’s/Help page , There is no way for a customer to directly view/edit/stop their auto-renewal when the billing is handled through clever-bridge. …?
How can i confirm that i am not signed up for auto-renewal as i dont recall if i ever set it up at a later time or at the start?
Would i be notified beforehand that i will be billed for an auto-subscription before i attempt to pay for it manually?
I do not want to extend my subscription manually and then find out i was billed again for an auto-renewal later.
This information is not available on the Avast program itself under the subscription/settings section and it is not available when logging in
to my avast account. It’s shady to make it this difficult for me to want to verify a very simple thing.
Please provide some actual direction that will get me the answers i need
Thank You
