cannot access internet after latest Avast program update

hi,
my computer runs whith Vista, Chrôme, and I use free version of Avast.
with the lattest update: 17. 5.2302, I cannot acces the internet, streaming, mailbox (hotmail), and websites anymore! if i restore my computer to an older state (whith Avast 17.3.2291 ) , everythings is just fine again, but last only the time the Avast updates are not in…
if I stop Avast (more specifically the web shield), then everything is just fine again…
so please, can Avast fixe this ?

Whilst I personally don’t believe this is a good work around - you can disable the https scanning in the web shield settings - as that would leave you less well protected.

It is a bug in XP and Vista, but one I have experienced only twice. I don’t disable the https scanning permanently, but temporarily, then refresh the page I experienced a problem with that reloaded I enable https scanning again.

Thanks for the answer… that’s what I will do… but if Avast don’t fix this soon, I’ll have to move to another antivirus… for I cannot change my computer right now…anyway, thanks again
