Cannot Access Netclient Program

Hi,

I seem to be experiencing two issues here, not sure if they are related.

Firstly, I tried to create a task to perform a full boot-time scan of all machines on the network. The task started successfully from the console but returned a 0x00000078 error in the ADNM console for all clients stating that “This function is not supported on this system”.

Having received this error, I thought that in the meantime I would perform a boot-time scan manually from some of the clients, which takes me to the second problem. When I right-click on the Avast icon on a client (and enter the password correctly), the menu is produced as expected. However, when I click on “Start avast! Antivirus” the splash screen with memory check appears and completes but then disappears and the program does not open. This occurs on all clients that I have tested so far regardless of whether I manually stop the memory test or not.

I would really appreciate any help/suggestions that anyone can offer.

Thanks,

Charlie.

Don’t worry, no sooner have I posted when I have figured out the second issue!

The local scanners were disabled in the root properties of the computer catalog - just got to wait for the clients to update and hopefully all should be ok.

Would still like suggestions for the first issue if anyone has any?!
