Cannot access websites through IE

Hi,
I just installed Avast and i found that i cannot access the internet through IE. The yahoo messenger seems to work fine. I can only access the internet if i turn off on-access protection of Avast. I’m using the Nvidia firewall that comes with the nforce chip.
Looking forward to using all the features of Avast.

ps using my firewall i have allowed the following programs:

I think i already fixed the problem…the ashwebsv.exe was actually denied by the firewall. thanks anyways…

aswupdsv.exe c:\program files\alwil software\avast4 - May require access - not on my system
avast.setup - Does require access, this is not a permenant file, complied at the time of update
