hi, i followed this website: https://support.avast.com/en-ww/contact/sales_autorenewal as suggested in order to cancel subscription (free 60 days).
However order ID in email is too long to type it in there and I do not know what to do.
Cam someone help me resolve this issue?
Another question is, if i gave my card number to gain access to this 60 days free trial can I somehow manage this card data?
Is is stored somewhere?
You aren’t entering some fake ID as such but entering a number that should at least allow you access to create a support ticket and explain the problem.
I have received an email from avast@allsoft.pl with Order ID: Xxx and activation code for “free” 60 days trial.
Then, I go to this website https://support.avast.com/en-us/article/Cancel-subscription and click “Canceling continuous subscriptions purchased via Allsoft, AstroPay, and Cleverbridge”
Yet I cannot provide the order number that I received in email in the input box because it is too long. Therefore I cannot cancel subscription.
And after doing what You said, I have just received this email, after providing all zeros as order ID.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting AVAST Software.
We have cancelled the auto-renewal feature for your subscription as you requested. Your order will expire at the end of its validation period. If you would like to renew your subscription in the future, you can purchase a new one at www.avast.com.
Kind regards,
The Avast Support Team
Can I be sure now that it is cancelled and I will not be charged?
Is it common?
Well, hope you’re right.
Why it is so difficult to just cancel a subscription is beyond my understanding though.
Same with credit card number, because I still do not know if Avast still has my card data or if it has beed used once to start trial.
