I received a desktop notification that Avast wants to update the program but for days now I get the alert that avast cannot connect to the server.
What’s up or what do I do?

Disable your firewall and see if it solves the problem.

I had to do this even though my ZA (and Prevx) had been peacefully co-existing for a long time.

Thank you…I did disable ZA and the download has begun.

To solve it. Open ZA, remove ALL apllications form the allow list, remove ALL components from the allow list and let ZA set the rules if a application ask for access.

Thank you, Eddy…I’ll do that now…the download did come through after disabling ZA…but following your instructions will make the next time easier.
