You are using the Ashampoo Firewall.
I’m afraid that is the culprit. AFAIK this FW prevents Avast from updating and Ashampoo has stated that there is no solution currently available.
My advice would be to uninstall Ashampoo FW and check.
If that helped, then leave Ashampoo go with Online Armor or Outpost (both have free versions).
Absolutely agree on Ashampoo firewall being the culprit, many such cases in the forums.
In one of the most recent ones they actually got an acknowledgement from Ashampoo that they had a problem with avast.setup and the only resolution was uninstalling ashampoo firewall.
And I did an OTS to find that out… ;D where I could have asked… silly me.

You’ve cracked it ! It was the Ashampoo Firewall … strange , because they’ve been running side by side for years , it must have been an update in the FW that knocked the Avast updates out …
