Is anyone having problems creating an iso rescue file using the free version of Avast ? When I try to create an iso file, the process starts but stops at 14% and no file is created.

Tha same problem here but in my case I have the paid Premium Security 25.9.10453a ( compilation 25.9.10453.946).
Always stucked at 14%. Tried to see if I had a BIOS secure boot locked or any issue and secure boot is not supported on my Desktop PC ( Secure Boot State: Unsupported according to System Information). Disabled all shields for 10m and with Usb or ISO the error is the same. Went to repair Avast installation and that didn´t changed a thing. Next step will be to install Avast free on another PC abd try do download the ISO rescue disk and with Rufus save to a pen. But I think Avast sould give proper support on this, since there are more cases if we do a search online and some with some time already.
I had no problem doing this yesterday. It does pause at 14% then at other percentage points on the way to 100%. Give it plenty of time. If it fails, try another time.
If it keeps happening, you could try a “Repair App” from Menu>Settings>Troubleshooting>[REPAIR APP]
and see if that helps.
