I want to totally unistall Avast as it interfers in my other virus removal program. I cannot find files that will delete all of the software as I had Ultimate package. Please send link thanks.
I deleted some files but one will not. In your help it says to unistall use avast_clear.exe or avastclear.exe and is usually saved to your “Downloads” folder by default. For older versions like Avast Free Antivirus version 18.8 compatible with Windows XP, a specific download link is provided. In addition was refund given from two previous request?:

What is wrong with using the Windows Uninstall, but that may leave some elements.
That said the avastclear doesn’t get downloaded to your download folder it.
That only happens if you actually download it. It should work across the range of the Avast Products.
Download the avast! Uninstall Utility, avastclear.exe Avast Removal Tool | Download Avast Clear | Avast and save it to your HDD. Make a note of the steps required or print the page.
- Download the latest Avast off-line installation file for your Avast Program (I don’t see Avast Ultimate listed there (only Premium and Free) and save to your HDD.
- Follow the instructions in the link in 1.
I’m not sure how the Uninstall would go for Ultimate as it has components outside of the Premium Product, VPN, etc. Yo may have to use the windows uninstall function for those first.
