This morning, when I booted my computer up, Avast asked me if I wanted to try the Avast Pro version for 20 days for free. I said YES and upgraded the antivirus engine.
At that point, Avast tells me that I am no longer protected. I have rebooted my computer, to see again that Avast won’t run on my computer until I BUY the Pro version (BUY a license).
Today would have been Day 1 of the FREE 20 day trial of the Pro version. 20 days certainly went FAST.
Is there a way to recover from this, or should I just uninstall Avast and reinstall the free version? I normally like Avast, but am rather upset with the way this went this morning.
