so i told him to uninstall ASC first. using REVO uninstaller. well, he can surf now. guess ASC was the culprit all along. anyways, you guys ROCK! @steven, since you suggested avast+MBAM+win firewall, i’ll do just that. 
and @scythe: i’ll remember that, IObit is just a waste of time. true that! heheheheh

and edit the title by putting b[/b] in front of the Subject.
