Cannot Install Avast

I have Avast home edition installed in my computer running WinXP and it works beautiful. I’m now trying to intall in my mother’s computer running Win98SE. She had Norton installed which caused other problems with the computer so I uninstalled it in order to UPGRADE :slight_smile: To Avast
After entering the registration I get the message: UNKNOWN ERROR
“Program cannot set property into main storage”. I click OK the program does update the virus database but otherwise nothing else works. I have more than 400 megs left in the hard drive and 160 megs of RAM. Can you help?

Try to switch avast! to be using XML instead of ODBC. You can do it by changing value of Database key in data\avast4.ini file from “ODBC” to “XML”.

After doing it restart all parts of avast! or simply restart whole computer…
