Cannot install VPS update after 1367 update

I have this issue when I updated manually on a pc temporarily without internet connection. What is this? What may be the fix for it? The succeeding update I manually downloaded was also the same. Please see image below. Using AIS 6 Build 1367. When I was with 1289 it was okay. What can I do.

I have seen similar reports here today, but no solution now.

Hi Asyn,

OK, I’ll just go back to 1289 in the meantime since this pc isn’t connected. The other pc’s with ver1367 can auto-update fine. Still observing though.

Thanks.

All online updates should work fine…!

After the update to the latest version 6.0.1367, have you deleted the firewall rules, (reboot), and re-create them?

This is not related to firewall rules…!
The offline update doesn’t work.

Yes, I understood that. This is not the first case since the new version.

But, if he solves the issue of the normal update (maybe with a final “repair” of avast and reboot), then either the complete VPS update won’t be necessary, or it would be accepted by Avast.

I guess I was participating in resolving update issues “too much” these couple of days :).

My apologies for mixing up issues.

NP ady.

Hi sorry for late reply. Busy busy at the office.

Oh, I do not have the firewall component installed on that machine. It’s on a Windows 7 x32 machine. On the XP machine with the firewall there are no issues.

Have used a wireless modem on that machine and it updated fine now. Ha not yet tried to do manual updates again though. When I get home I’ll try it again.

@Asyn,

Thanks for the link. Have a nice day dude!

Thank you for the reply guys

You’re welcome…!
