cannot login to ADNM after install

Hi, I have installed Avast ADNM on a windows 2000 server box. I created the mirror during the install process, and then tried to login to the console for the 1st time. The error it gives me is that the machine actively refused the connection.
In the event viewer i see logs like …

"Error 0000A410 has occured while loading the global data storage. "
"Installer information: Cannot initialize data source, error 0x80004005… "
"Installer information: Going to create database of avast! on MS SQL server “192.168.101.8”, using user “sa”… "
"Database check on 192.168.101.8 server failed with 0000A410 error. Use AMS Maintenance Tool to fix the problem. "

I have used the AMS Maintenece tool to check the database and it is fine, no errors.
I have installed the ADNM onto another PC (WinXP SP2) just to test and see if I can get it working from there … All works perfectly. From the 2000 box I can logon to the WinXP box.

I would like the ADNM on the server and not on the workstation. Please would someone point me in the right direction.

It’s possible that the DB drivers on the Win2K box are outdated/malfunctioning.
Try updating them by using the links given in this post
http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=11120.msg94723#msg94723
(install both of them, in the order given).

thanks

Thank you, I have installed the pathes as described in the other post and it is working perfectly now.

Didn’t find that post while I was searching though.

Cool, now to get down to some installs I guess.
