I just downloaded the new version of Avast(free), and now get a message that Outlook can’t be opened. Please advise.
Strange message… What exactly can be opened? An email? The whole program?

Is there a particular message or just the program does not open?
I have no idea how this happened. I assumed it was caused by the avast installation because it worked fine prior to that. However, I found a fix for on google. I was told to start-run, and then type Outlook.exe /resetnavpane, and it actually worked! Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate it.
I was about to suggest you a command-line for Outlook… You’ve find it first.
