Cannot restore file from Virus Chest

I am running Avast AV Free on windows 10 and it put a simple .bat file that opens a few firefox browsers into the virus chest and called it a generic virus. It will not restore the file and I have tried every way there is to restore it mentioned in the instructions. Is there any way I can manually go to the virus chest location and restore the file. It took me a while to figure out how to write this particular batch file and I have no backup because it is so simple,…and it has run about 30 times with no problems until now.

Are you sure it is not restored? A copy will remain in chest so check orginal location
