Cannot scan certain files in my secondary hard drive :O

When I scanned the selected one (the secondary hard drive I had having abundant empty spaces), I noticed the “file decompression bomb” thing upon being done in the scan. But these are the files that I use for MCEdit* in order to put the schematic files to the Minecraft world I wished to edit. I wonder what on earth does that mean. The items that couldn’t be scanned are the .schematic files that are high in memory (which is that the selected building in that file is very large).

Decompression bomb means a higly compressed file, and avast will not unpack and scan it. It does not mean it is infected

In the old day this was a trick used to crash the unzip/scan engine

Ah. I see. Thanks for the response. I thought it is a virus but it became known that not all of the files that are associated with the “decompression bomb” thing is infected with virus.
