Cannot stuff internet using Chrome

I am using avast 5.0 internet security.
only can use firefox, ie to stuff internet but not chrome 5 or 6.

I have already allow all the connection for chrome.

I don’t use Chrome, but isn’t 6 beta or even alpha, in which case it may not be supported.

I don’t know if the same is true of the 5.? version you are using.

Are you using a proxy for your internet connection (as there are many Chrome users in the forums and no reported problems) ?

Can you use Chrome 5 or 6 if you stop the web shield ?

all versions of Chrome are supported by the web shield…;so that should include V6 (dev channel) that I’ve been using for months now :wink:

So that would indicate there is something else going on in the OPs system regarding Chrome. Since Firefox works, AIS isn’t blocking the Web Shield, so it should work for all supported browsers.
