Cannot un-quarantine a file.

Trying to download OpenRCT2 4.5 and Avast is not letting me. It IS A file I am willing to accept the “risk”, and no matter how many times I select “add an exception” it only comes up with an error. I even added the website as an exception and it still won’t let me. I briefly disabled Avast and downloaded it, and when Avast came back up it immediately quarantined the file.

I do not want avast to quarantine this file. How do I stop this when all the standard avenues have failed?

Have you tried Restore and exception from Quarantine ?

If not, I guess that before it would be allowed to set down at that location it would be scanned.

The Web Shield could be scanning that content also and that would be happening before landing in your download folder.
