cannot update windows

Sorry, this question is for my desktop. I recently updated my desktop to windows 10 and now the resolution is messed up. The computer claims 2048*1152 is the most optimal resolution but that doesnt work since the screen starts to shake and is not scaled correctly. Can someone please help find whats the best display settings for my desktop? Thank you all for your help!

It is singh21’s topic.

So it is but certainly not related to updating windows. And no information about the systems hardware.

I’m here again, sorry. I had restored my laptop back to factory settings since some problems were still persisting. And now, I having the same problem of not being able to update to windows 8.1. I get the message: “Your windows 8.1 install couldn’t be completed. Something happened and the install of windows 8.1 can’t be completed.” I wonder why I always have this problem.

Check to see if there are any hidden updates that you need to install.
If you don’t find any, then see if this helps you update to Windows 8.1:

Nothing sir, I ran the dowload update and it just said my computer already has the updates downloaded

Some more homework for you:

The other option is to create install media of Windows 8.1 and do the install from that media (Select the option to keep your files and settings):

Ok, I got to windows 8.1 again. I should of mentioned this earlier but the biggest problem I’ve been having with my laptop is that its disconnects itself from the internet. Also, I get a caution sign on the wifi. I dont think its a problem with the wifi itself since this problem dosent occur with other devices. I woudl really appreciate help on this since it been happening for a while

What’s the error message on the WiFi ???
