I just downloaded the Avast Free Antivirus 5.0.396 ver but after i insatll i am unable to scan nor secure my pc everytime i click on the fix now button under current status nothing happens
moerover when i try to set a custom and try to start the scan i get this error
unable to start scan
there are no end points from the endpoint mapper

NOW is 5.0.418 try automatic update

i am also unable activate the secure pc option
So obviously the avast service is not running. Have you tried the FIX NOW button?
ya it isnt working nothing happens ???
this problem comes from a bug that results in clicking on a registration reminder…I had to uninstall Avast and start over with it >:(
