Can't activate Avast

Every time I try inserting the activation code, I get the following error message:

“The request cannot be processed at this moment, please try again later. (-1)”

Web activation does not work. What do I do?

Which Avast…? (Free/Pro/IS/Premier)

Internet Security. There was another post a day ago from a guy with the same issue. Is there a problem with Avast’s activation servers?

This got me an e-mail saying that there are no valid licenses on file for my e-mail. That can’t be true though, because I ordered the license back in February (One year). I still have the receipt in my inbox.

From support@avast.com:

Dear customer,

we are sorry, but our records show no valid purchases with the e-mail address you specified.

Did you buy from Avast directly or from a reseller…?

How long is the turnaround on that? Avast is currently running in trial mode with “1 day remaining”. I had to move to a new SSD, hence why I am trying to reactivate Avast. :confused:

I got the same problem. As with Dalpheus, I also can’t activate my Avast Internet Security with purchased license. I have done the same steps as with Dalpheus, but it still does not work. Sorry for my bad English. I from Indonesia.

And there was another guy who made a thread about this less than 24 hours ago. I think there’s a problem with Avast’s activation servers.

Yes, maybe just a temporary server issue…

Problem appears to be fixed now. Try again.
